This shift knob is intended only for cars that use a "dog leg" style shift pattern, meaning reverse is in the top left, and 2 and 3 are in line with each other in the middle. Dog leg shifters are found on several early Porsche models, as a straight pull between 2 and 3 is more conducive to performance driving.
